THANKSGIVING

It is Thanksgiving. I have so many things to be thankful for.

I have 11 beautiful grandchildren. They are Thomas 13, Josie 12, Elias 5, Mashaela 4 , Jaynie 3, Alayna 2, Austin 1, Megan 1, Lucy 1, Rigden 4 months old and Garrett 3 1/2 months old. They are all very sweet spirits. I am so thankful their parents have been able to share them with me. It really amazes me how much I love each and every one. We also have a granddaughter due in March.

I am thankful for my mom. September 31 2008 my stepdad Ted Lowder died. She is so strong. She is an example for all of us. She knows the gospel well. I has given her a calmess through all of this. I would be very different if she thought she would never see him again. She is making quilts and doing her own thing.

I am thankful for Delwynn. He works very hard to provide for us. I am glad we have a nice home and we have heat, electric stove, a dishwasher and many modern day conveniences.

I am thankful for modern medicine. It provided us with a special blessing this summer. Jeff and Rebecca reaped the most benefits. She sacrificed tons to have Garrett. I am very grateful for her and all she does. He was born on August 11, 2008.

Rigden was born July 31 2008. His birth was very fast. They were only at the hospital for 40 minutes. Mashaela and Alayna enjoy "brother". Mashaela enjoys holding him. They are good helpers.

I am thankful for Jesus Christ. He has done so much for us. His eternal plan for us is wonderful. Eternal Families are totally awesome.

I am thankful for my children. They have grown and developed in so many ways. They take very good care of their children. I guess we did something right.

Jaynie has a very special place in my heart. She is adorable. I love spending time with her. I called her parents and asked if I could tend her Friday evening while Jeff and Rebecca went out. I think I was as excited as they were.

She loves animals. I could not even touch this crazy cat. It has the most annoying meow.. It sounds like it is saying mama. Tabbi Gurney named it Shadow. It is a pretty cat. I guess it knew how I felt about it. I couldn't get within five feet of it. Jaynie walked right up to it and picked it up. They were an item all evening. She carried it around and around. Sometimes the only thing vertical was its hind legs.

She is getting a new Brother. Hopefully she will love it as much. She loves animals. She even has a pony. It is 12 hands high. She also got a new swing set and a trampoline. The trampoline and the wind had a fight. The wind took it to the neighbors yard. I guess the wind won.

She is such a sweetheart. I love her dearly.

I could imagine seeing this when Christ died.

Are we looking at next years theme. Is it Harry Potter? Is it at Hogwarts? Do we need to bring our broom?

Eternal friendships and worn out kids.

Here are some more Ethington Munchkins.

Are these the trouble makers?

Many hands make light work. The food was very good. Linsey enjoyed shopping and cooking for 70 people. In Linsey's blog she said she would like to do this as a part time job. I love love love her fudge. Do you suppose she with share her recipe with me? I love her fudge.
Isn't Josie beautiful?

Marshell is totally loving this paint job. He looks like it is very painful.

Some also just hung out

We also have artistic talents.

Is Rook better than eating? Sometimes.

Ethington Family Reunion 2008

You might be an Ethington if you play Rook. Is 85 the starting bid? The problem with bidding over 85 without the Rook, your may go set. You have a lot of rooksters in training.

My first blog

We had fun going to the Dinosaur Museum with "the twins" (Megan and Lucy), Mark, Celeste. The girls especially liked the cave and digging in the dirt.
